The Church seems to have been more on the ball in the German situation, attending closed-door hearings with the Enquiry Commission.

Although the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints did reply to the inquiry, the response was received too late and therefore not included in the formal advice
given to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
